Easyreef began manufacturing mainsail reefing systems in 1987.
Whilst, at that time, there were already several other manufacturers
of mainsail reefing systems, those systems available were of
the type bolted to the rear of the mast resulting in poor air
flow and a tubular effect on the sail.
Easyreef's™ design, which was revolutionary at that time,
involved fairing the unit to the mast improving both air flow
and appearance.
Easyreef are now the longest established UK supplier of mainsail,
in-mast reefing systems.
